4th Grade Homework Sheet
Dear Students and Parents,
Wow…the 4th graders are doing a great job with Gold Dust or Bust! Keep memorizing those lines and singing those songs daily. This project is an active social studies assignment and will count toward their grade for Social Studies as well as music and conduct. The students are giving a great effort and it should be a wonderful performance. All lines need to be memorized by Monday, April 26, 2010! ( Study! Study! Study! )
In fact, the PTG performance will be on May 6, 2010, yet students need to bring their FULL COSTUMES on Thursday, April 29, 2010 to class. We will conduct a dress rehearsal then and check that all costumes are correct and appropriate. Please have students continue to learn the words to all the songs by practicing singing to the CD’s daily. Additional information was sent home last Friday on the PTG Information Sheet in this homework folder.
Student grades can also be checked by visiting www.gradelink.com regularly.
Finally, please check the homework folders for any tests in which students have scored below 75%. Students may make corrections on a separate sheet of paper for tests only. Since we are in the middle of 3rd trimester many students need to re-stock their supplies for the classroom: glue sticks, sharpened pencils, erasers, paper, etc.
Have a great week and please feel free to contact me by sending a note with your child or through my diocesan email: yschmenauer.ourladyoftheassumption.ocs@sbdiocese.org .
