Fri. September 10 – Thurs. September 16, 2010
4th Grade Homework Sheet
Dear Students and Parents,
The weekly homework assignments are due on Thursday, September 16, 2010.Please remember our 4th Grade Bake Sale is this Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 8am-2pm.
Please donate baked goods and choose a two hour shift to work. The donations and shifts do count toward your OLA hours!
Thank you to all parents attending Back to School Night! Please read over the material provided and contact me with any questions you might have. I really appreciate all your positive feedback and look forward to working with you in the coming year.
The “Math Don’t Leave School Without It” Project presentations will begin on Monday and the final draft paragraphs and illustration should be completed by 9/13/10 as stated in the guideline sheet. Your student will read their essay and present the math problem at the board that you provide the illustration for in the project. Please use problems that the students can understand and solve and present to the class. (Try not to make it too complicated) Students have been shown a project in class to give them ideas on what is expected. Please refer to the rubric and guideline sheet for any further questions. The illustrations will be displayed in the classroom. This project will help students understand that math is important and part of their lifelong learning. Thank you so much for helping them to finish well.
Students may choose activities for their spelling and vocabulary homework from the attached sheet. We have reviewed this together in class. We have also gone over the important details of using correct headings on these assignments and organizing their homework folders.
Please refer to the following homework schedule! Have a great week and thank you for choosing OLA School.
