Fourth Grade Bruins Homework Update

4th graders are like busy bees buzzing into the school year.

August 31, 2009 Homework:

1) If not finished in class, complete Excel Math Lesson 1

2) If not finished in class, complete Student Inventory Questionnaire (parents may help write in the answers for struggling students)

3)Bring in your favorite book tomorrow (picture book, chapter book, comic book, ANY book). Be prepared to read your favorite part (a small excerpt) to the class.

4) Get your parent's signature on your written out homework assignment sheet from class.

WELCOME BACK !

The fourth grade students are off to a GREAT start! The students presented their oral presentations in class today. We have many unique talents and strengths and the four items brought to school taught us so much about each other.

Homework:

1) Students that didn't finish need to complete "All About Me" Newspaper Posters tonight and bring them to school tomorrow morning to decorate our walls for Back To School Night. (Due Thursday 8/27)

2) Oldest children in the family need to return the signed OLA Handbook Forms to class.

3) Math Don't Leave School Without It Project: Interview Due Monday, August 31,2009

4)Bring four book covers to class for hard cover books. (before Friday, September 11th)
